Most people seek employment as construction laborers or household staff, which has now halted because of Covid-19. They have no job therefore no money to buy food. They want to work but have been locked out by the pandemic. Their hands are tied and their families are starving ...
Many Elderly have been abandoned by their families. They make their way into the slums. There is no government assistance available for people in either of the above situations.
As of June 30, 2022, people should be allowed to leave their homes, venturing out to search for work and thus provide food for their families.

$4,800 still needs to be raised to see us through to the projected lockdown lift. This will be enough to continue sending money, which is used to buy and cook food, providing 3 substantial meals a week to the very very poor, to avert starvation.
